Bluetooth problems
My HTC Amaze will not connect to my Panasonic wireless home phone which has bluetooth.
I have an old Razr V3 which connects and works just fine. Also I have an ATT - ZTE F160
connects ok. My phone has the latest ICS update, I bought it used and unlocked, everything
seems to work ok on it but this bluetooth problem. It`s nice to just use one of the handsets
on the Panasonic instead of the cellphone for many uses.
I see many people have had problems with this phone and there car radios using bluetooth but
the phone may just have all kinds of bluetooth issues ? - 08-26-2012, 10:59 PM #2
You mean as a headset? Yes the Amaze has had complaints about bluetooth. Tried to connect to anything else? In Settings | about phone | Hardware info, what's your Bluetooth MAC address? Some have lots of problems, I haven't.
If your phone hasn't been factory reset, I'd try that.

Nexus 4 (Mako), Amaze 4G on T-Mobile. Nexus 7 16GB. Google Chromebook (2012 Samsung 16gb). Next stop, a Google flush toilet.
Did I solve your problem? Hit the Thanks button. Was I just a nuisance? Sorry, can't bat .400 every day. - 08-30-2012, 11:03 AM

Re: Bluetooth problems
Not a headset but a home phone base-unit with 4 cordless handsets, it
is Bluetooth enabled so it can connect to a Bluetooth cell phone.
Panasonic Link to Cell KX-TGA410.
Got rid of my land-line.
I haven`t tried to connect to anything else.
MAC address is a8:26:d9:e0:6c:04
Bluetooth 3.0
Bluetooth address unavailable
I haven`t tried factory reset, thanks for the help !Last edited by joebubba1; 09-07-2012 at 03:17 PM. Reason: clarification
