Sensation or Galaxy S 4G

I am going to be a newbie to Android coming from Symbian. For an average user what do you guys suggest - Galaxy S or Sensation? Thanks.

HTC sensation by far. I had both. Loved the HTC way more

Get the sensation. I LOVE mine. I've had 9 android phones now and this is by FAR the very best android phone I every had.

I would advise you OP to get the Sensation too. I personally have a Samsung Galaxy S II unlocked, but the HTC sensation seems to be on pair with my GSII which I love, so stick with the HTC sensation. I think also the Sensation is a dual core processor smartphone just like my GSII.
