Seems it nearly impossible to find 540x960 wallpapers, so I took it upon myself to create some.

I've been grabbing them from the HTC Hub. There are some nice ones on there. Always good to have more.

Yea but they are not in the 540x960 resolution.

do you really need exactly 960x540? wouldn't say 960x800 work and be close enough since Android automatically stretches/shrinks fits for the display size?

No because with 960x800 you would have to crop out some of the picture. 540x960 allows for the entire image to be used on the home screen since Sense 3.0 doesn't have the wallpaper scroll.

oh i see what you're saying. i have an original EVO and my 960x800 wallpaper image is on a big solid black background so i'm hoping it will be ok when i upgrade to a larger display phone ie 4.5-5".
