HTC sensation keeps heating up and switching off!!!

As the title says really. What's going on, anyone else having this problem?

Seems to happen on the evening for some reason, and when playing on angry birds, battery gets really warm and won't turn back on till its cooled down. I fitted a 34GB, would this cause any problems......

Same problem here! I have mine in a Case-Mate Barely There case, and the phone gets very hot...is yours in a case?

Yeah I keep it in a cover but not when using it. It's fine when doing anything but playing angry birds, just gets hot after a few mins and shuts down, guess I'll have find another game to play LOL

LOL re: Angry Birds. My phone is shutting down every day on its own if I leave it for the day unattended, with the battery at 100%. When I get home and turn it on, the battery is at around 95% or so, it's not hot and there are no errors.

I have been getting absolutely spectacularly professional and personalized help from someone at HTC tech support (one of the best experiences I've ever had with a tech company support) and so we're trying a few things but at this point I'm really frustrated.

If I play Angry Birds, yes it gets hot and the battery wears down but the phone doesn't shut down. It only shuts down when not in use...including if I've set an alarm.
