Okay, guys, no need to speculate any further and wonder about when the update will arrive. It will be ready by the end of the week. Some time between Saturday and Sunday, the update will begin. At the start there will be no OTA (Over The Air) update as T-Mobile does not see the update being ready for that. Within two weeks of the intial release of the update, which can be found on HTC's website (), the OTA update will begin and take about six weeks to complete.
The main reason for the delay has been miscommunication. One company thought certain aspects of the update was going to be handled by the other and vise-versa. Since that has been addressed, everything has gone smooth. Sorry for any delays. Now, if anyone, does not want to wait for the update, or take up a notch, he or she can look to HTC's newest phone, the ONE S!"
it was according to "htcjohn" in a thread. This information has been deemed false by a tforce member. sorry for the false hope. There's no winning with this OTA. I'm starting to believe that we won't have an OTA update for ICS. I'm seriously considering rooting, and leaving android when my contract is up, or at least HTC.
that doesn't make me happy....i got this phone cuz of ice....now all this garbage. i was hoping to not get another phone. i will just root it this weekend... hope the galaxy note hits by new year.
man this is complete BS I personally blame tmobile, they first announce that the OTA would come around April and followed that up by saying that it would not be released in april after all, but some time after, then today i hear that leaks are reporting a release in June?!.... its not the lack of the update that bothers me but being lied to twice...., i rooted mine a long time ago and and running aosp and am very happy as far, but still so many people that are just waiting on this..., guess my *** is picking up a Nexus this month...
