HTC sensation not detecting any wifi signals after update

My HTC just had an update some days ago and everything seems to work fine, battery life is longer, UI changed a bit, but the wifi doesn't seem to work at all now. Even if I turn of mobile network and have the wifi turned on, it just doesn't show any signals. All my other devices work just fine, so it can't be the router. There should be lots of signals in the building anyway. I tried restarting it and wait for another update, but it doesn't work.

I would like not having to do a hard reset, since i understand that i would lose all my info and apps on my phone.

Any tips?
