Turning off animations?

I know that Sense is pretty animation-heavy, & it's a draw to the OS. But, is there a way to turn animations off? I know there is on my MT4G. Just wanted to make sure the Sensation has this option as well .

I don't currently have the Sensation(will be getting one soon), however, I have a Droid Eris that has an older version of Sense. Not sure if my menus are the same as yours, however, here is how I do it:

1) From the Home Screen, select Menu & then Settings.
2) Next, select Sound & Display.
3) Next, select Animation.
4) Last, select - No Animations

I have one and that does not control the Sense 3.0 animations like the 3D page turning. There may be a way to disable that as well but I'll have to check later when I have time to play with it.

There is a way and I turned them off to see if there was a big difference and I barely saw a change. I just turned it back on. I love this device!
