LG G2 won't connect to app after update

After the latest update on my phone. My march madness app won't connect for some reason. Is this because of the update and how do I fix it?

Welcome to Android Central! Which March Madness app are you talking about? Is it the Yahoo one? Are you sure you've updated the app to the most recent version?

Do you know the name of the app? Look it up on Google Play and see if there are any comments from reviewers or from the developer about your issue.

Its the NCAA March Madness app, and it's pretty much crap. I'm sitting in an area where I'm pulling down 40mbps and it won't connect for me either....but strangely it can send me notifications.....

I looked at the app page on Google Play. The devs suggest clearing data from Settings>Apps, then restarting the app. Give that a try.
