    Default Stop request: install upgrade to 2.2.3??

    I don't want to upgrade from 2.2.1 to 2.2.3, but somehow it got downloaded, and now there is a persistent request to install it. Can I get rid of the download AND the requesting?
    (The MyTouch 3G is rooted in 2.2.1 and working fine. I have read all sorts of conflicting reports on the upgrade and subsequent difficulties in rooting. Am I being paranoid?) Thanks!

    Request is now moot. I flashed a custom ROM: ginger yoshi 1.5 It seems to work great!

    Where did you get ginger yoshi 1.5 from and is it for mytouch 3g??
