Ok, I just got a MT3G a little over a week ago from ebay. It came already rooted with the latest CM Rom. I installed the free version of Advanced Task Killer as well as a few other apps. Now, after I periodically kill all apps using ATK it shows that I have about 24-28M of memory left. Is this normal? I am not sure what the normal amount is but this seems a little low and it does take a little longer for the icons on the homepage to load up after i close an app or game than it did when i first got it. I am wondering about how much available memory it would show for you guys and what apps, if any you have run into, are memory killers.

Every CM rom i tried on my MT3G did the same exact thing for me. There should be a tool in your menu called "Spare Parts", which allows you to keep your home screen in memory...this usually alleviates this problem for the most part, but takes away memory from application use. As far as free memory, thats probably about normal.

I got tired of custom ROMs a little while ago, since I always found something nagging like that.

You can always return to the original T-mobile rom if you want to using the instructions below

# Format your SD card to FAT32

* Windows: Right-click on SD icon and select format
* Mac users: Start Disk Utility, Partition the card
* Linux: Use gparted (it's in the repositories of your favorite distro)

# Copy the COC10 build (sappimg.nbh) file (and no others!!) to your SD card.
# Shut down your phone.
# Reboot into fastboot by holding Volume Down + Power (you should see three Androids on skateboards)
# Follow the on-screen instructions to flash the image. On some handsets it may require pressing the action button (trackball), while on others it may require pressing the power button.

# Reboot when phone is done updating.

There's a stock 1.6 rom with root. I haven't tried it yet, but I am thinking about it.
