Please anyone who has updated from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6 on tmobile, will you let us know if you lost tethering or hot spot, if so i'm not updating.

They must have forgotten about us Sprint users as well because we haven't gotten the new update either.

there isnt even a dowload link yet...hmm they could have held back on sending it out because it was breaking tethering??

Our tethering was already broken with Tue 2.3.5 update.

Lol that sucks, yeah I heard it was only being pushed to Canada right now, it might come to use US folks later in the week, really hope this does not break tethering.

For tmo users we didn't get the 2.3.5 update...so we still have tethering.

2.3.5 was for the NS4G users to help with the 4G radio

I just go the 2.3.6 update for my Nexus One and Tethering and the hotspot are broken. Google may have just made my choice of a new Android or Windows Phone 7 phone a lot easier.

UPDATE:
Tethering and Hotspot fixed, it reset my hotspot settings, so once I changed them back , no problem.

Nope, it hasn't been released for the tmo NS, but hopefully we will get it soon...

2.3.7 is out, but I'm not sure if we'll get that since the Google Wallet deal is with Sprint.

Just got 2.3.6 OTA - T-Mobile in Jacksonville. Didn't seem to affect any of the teathering options. Sadly, no noticeable improvement in Wi-Fi reception either.

just got it on T Mobile in the UK and it does not break tethering - doesnt seem that anything else has changed much.

Noob question guys but will the OTA update file posted on the article yesterday work on any Nexus S regardless of bands etc once it has the right build number?!

Got my update yesterday.

1. No noticeable improvements.
2. As of today my nexus will not stop resetting itself. It's stuck in this cycle and is heating up very hot
I have taken the battery out a few times and it won't stop. Might as well be bricked. FML
