Switch From Sprint to T-Mobile w/ NS4G Possible?

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to switch to T-Mobile with my Nexus S4G from Sprint. I see that they have much cheaper plans. If so, how should I go about doing this? Do I need to root to do it?

A qualified no. Sprint is CDMA technology, T-Mobile is GSM. You would be best served by trading for a T-Mobile branded device.

Thanks BergerKing. I appreciate the reply. I just got back from T-Mobile and they explained it to me about the technology. That sucks. I guess I might have to just get a new device if I switch over or consider different carriers.
