Just buy it, worth the money... IMO best app ever, if not just use the browser for the Androidcentral forums, m.androidcentral.com then forums. It is faster but not really a lot of customization.

Help please! I registered but when I go to the download page, there is a "lock" icon in the browser address, and the page won't load. Is there some security setting I need to disable?

I know. That's where I go to, but the page won't load and there is that little "lock" icon in front of the web address. It's doing the same thing when I try to "browse" to the gmail login page. I can open gmail if I use the app. But I can't if I browse to it. I get that "lock" icon again in front of the url.

Downloaded Opera and it now swype is installing. Now I wait.

Installed the installer, signed in, trying to download but I keep getting a parse error. "There is a problem parsing the package." Now what?

Just kept doing it over and over, finally it works. Okay the initial problem is definitely the browser. Opera mini worked well. The parse error? Not sure, just kept trying and it finally installed and seems to be working well. Now I just have to get used to it. Thank you Baconator, (btw love the name

Your welcome. I try to help as much as I can. I am using the stock browser and it worked fine for me but who knows. Hope you enjoy the new keyboard, if you can't tell from my spelling sometimes, I'm still trying to master swype. Thanks. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I've got to figure out what that lock icon it. A couple of days ago I could browse to gmail, but not now. If you find out anything about that icon please let me know. I'm on my laptop typing because my first few attempts at swype where pretty funny. I'll have to practice. Thank God I have tiny fingers, but even then I was spelling out some pretty weird stuff.

Hello, I'm a noob, first time Android user, Nexus S owner first post on Android Central. How long did everyone have to wait for their invite from the Swype Beta. I signed up a few hours ago and still no link. Is it closed now? Does it take a day or so?
