Question Is HDMI possible on Nexus S?

Was on xda and someone found this in git. Does it mean anything?

Given it's in the Kernel it could be for any Samsung Android device with HDMI.

The Nexus S doesn't have a HDMI port, so if it were possible it would involve some kind of USB converter - I suspect it's unlikely.

.....very unlikely. I still can't get over the fact that the nexus s did not come with HDMI capability.

    Maybe this will help?

    28 #Enable the below code to show the video output (without GUI) on TV 29 #ifeq ($(BOARD_USES_HDMI), true) 30 #LOCAL_CFLAGS+=-DENABLE_HDMI_DISPLAY \31 # -DBOARD_HDMI_STD=$(BOARD_HDMI_STD) 32 # 33 #LOCAL_C_INCLUDES += $(LOCAL_PATH)/../include 34 #LOCAL_SHARED_LIBRARIES+= libhdmi 35 #endif
