This has been an issue since day one I got my phone and I wanted to see of any of you here have had this problem and have a possible solution. T-Mobile is clueless and Samsung says it a service provider issue.

I cannot send or receive MMS (picture) messages using either the stock android application, Handcent or Go SMS. And size doesn't make a difference. I've tried a 2.6kb file and a 420kb file.

I found a post of another board suggesting I make the following changes to my "mobile network" settings:

Settings>Wireless & networks>Mobile networks>Access Point Names>T-Mobile US

MMS Proxy: <Not set> - set to: 216.155.165.50
MMS Port: <Not set> - set to: 8080
MCC: Already set to 310
MNC: Already set to 260
MMSC: Already set to: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

All the other settings have not been touched and are set to the following:
Name: T-Mobile US
APN: epc.tmobile.com
Proxy: <Not set>
Port: <Not set>
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set>
Server: <Not set>
Authentication Type: <Not set>
APN type: default,supl,mms

Even after making the "suggested" changes, no joy.

If anyone has success both sending and receiving MMS messages, would you take a look at your settings and let me know if there is anything set differently than what mine are set to so I can see if I can fix this issue. Of course, if you're not on T-Mobile, it won't matter.

Thanks!
