Anyone know how to remove the T-Mobile tab from the Android market?

Hello all, I want to remove the T-Mobile tab that is on the Android Market. I have CyanogenMod 7.0.2 and I am obviously rooted, with the latest CW Recovery. So yeah is there a way to do so? Custom apk? Adding a file or something? Sounds stupid but I am kind of confused that my brother's Optimus V doesn't have it on his market, but I do lol.

Huh, I thought it was tied to the SIM card, since T-Mobile offers carrier billing for the Market. Before my number was ported, I was using my AT&T sim in the Nexus S and it didn't show any carrier name in the market.

But if another T-Mo phone doesn't show it, then I'm just confused....

I think it has to do with the T-Mobile SIM card, if you take it out it won't say T-Mobile but that isn't a solution. I'll look into it more.

It is the Sim card. I have "My Apps" on mine with an ATT sim.

I understand that, but is there any way to remove it regardless of what SIM card I have on it?

I did come across a thread on xda that had instructions on how to do it but I wasn't able to since it involved decompiling the apk.
