you have no idea if this works for the nexus s 4g yet you post it up in these forums?
CDMA and wimax radio have to be addressed. I would imagine that this would not be fully functional on a nexus s 4g. - 04-29-2011, 12:31 PM #3
It isn't, it only includes GSM radio file(s). Thread needs to be moved.

Help on android 2.3.4 install
Hi i am using a Nexus S and download the android 2.3.4 . Currently my Nexus S is "dead" it keep freezing up and right now i think the storage device is corrupted. I try to copied the file into the storage it look like it does not copied into it. It look like the storage right now is read only ? i try to reset to factory setting it also wont reset back. So is there anyway to help me ? like force install the 2.3.4 using CMD ?

YES! It lasted me FOREVER yesterday and I used it the whole day for navigation, surfed the web (a lot), I downloaded a million files, and made a bunch of calls! I think I used my phone yesterday more than I have ever since I got it, and the battery lasted me the whole day.

yeah same here! im really impressed with this update. i normally have to plug my phone in during the day since battery gets low fast. i use wifi all the time (no coverage in my dorm) and the battery has lasted like a champ, plus i used the web and calls all the time and sms sending has not put a dent in the battery life! very impressed

The only thing I recommend to anyone wanting their battery to last longer is to lower the brightness of the screen. The screen brightness is what will kill your battery, I usually have my screen to the lowest brightness.

My last phone was still Edge before the Nexus S (BB Curve 8900). It's not too bad but the speed boost is nice.

deleting this post, it came off as overly whiny and I apologize for that, just impatient for my I9020A's update

What model number is your Indian Nexus S?

I'm still on 2.3.1 on my fresh Nexus, am I correct that this manually update will not work for me? I've tried About Phone - System Update to check for 2.3.3 with no luck.

GRI40
Rooted and running 2.3.3 trying to install 2.3.4
I have searched all over google and can not find a solution to my problem.
* auto update 2.3.4 and that failed
* manually installing 2.3.4 and that failed
* Tried installing the stock 2.3.3 rom again and that failed
When I say failed I mean "error code 7" and the install aborts.
help please!Last edited by NM31; 05-05-2011 at 01:21 PM.
