Hi, all!

I'm coming from AT&T, my contract is up and I'm switching to T-Mobile. I'm on a family unlimited talk-text plan and don't have data. I'm considering this LG Optimus T very much; it's got fantastic reviews, has WiFi, and is free because of the switching promo!

My criteria is WiFi, durable, T-Mobile phone, so are there any Cons to the Optimus T I should be aware of before buying it? If so, are there better phones out there than the Optimus T?

EDIT: Oh, and also, what do "rooting" and "overclocking" your phone do?
