Dock Mode

I recently purchased an iCarpus stand for my Optimus T. The first day I brought it to work and used it with a charger, my Optimus T went into a sort of desk dock mode. It was the Clock application, but when I'd press the Home button it would take me back to the dock mode instead of the standard home screen. I liked this feature. When I brought my phone back the next day it would no longer do this automatically.

I'm not sure if I did something special, but I was wondering if there was a way to automatically trigger this mode when I use a cradle?

AFAIK the way the phone is acting now is normal. Home button should take you back to your home screen. Adding a shortcut to clock on your homescreen may be the best workaround. I'm not certain but maybe a third party launcher like GO Launcher Ex or ADW supports something similar to what you're looking for via a profile.
