Hi there. I'm getting a 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied, when trying to download recovery-RA..... but was able to download Flash_Image.zip.Is there a setting a need to change on my phone?

    TIA

It is not just you. I get the same thing on my PC. I believe it is a misconfigured web server. My iPhone crapped out this week 6 months after the warranty expired and with 6 months left on my AT&T contract. Fortunately, I had the Optimus T I was trying out. I got it unlocked and working on the AT&T network. I am really eager to get rid of some of the T-Mobile-specific stuff and see what Android can really do, but it seems I can't do anything without this file.

Finally! Go to the first sticky of this thread then follow the link for the updated recovery 2.2.1. there's a link there where you can download the .img file that we need.

Hey, I've had the optimus t for about two weeks and I've done just about every thing you can with the stock rom as I can think of I'm extreamly new to Linux and this is my first smart phone. So changing the rom was the next thing I found that would help me into making this phone the best fit for me and my bad habit of wanting to tinker with electronics. But my problem iswhen I wipe the factory and cache and that third thing lol and flash a new rom it loads the LG. Logo after rebooting then just stays like that and doesn't load or any thing, and when I push the power button it immeaditly turns off, I'm glad I made a nand recovery or I wouldn't be typing this haha. So if any one can help me has the same problem or thinks they can help feel free to ask and send me a message.

Default Sucsessful Root unsucsessful custome recovery

I am new to the forum and have been trying to root, perform a recovery and flash a new ROM for three days now. Thanks ahead of time for all of the threds and links that have gotten me this fare and for any help that you can provide me with my isues.
I finaly rooted my Optimus t using gingerbreak and went on to do a custom recovery. Everything was going fine intill I tried the links for "recovery-RA-GNM-OPT-T-test.img.zip"
I could never unzip the img. I tried using winzip and also using ASTRO file manager to exctract the img. Having faild 20 times I found an img that I could extract "recovery-RA-GNM-thunderc-s-1.1.0.img" I unziped and saved image to the SDroot. I fallowed theis instructions

    su
    mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system
    cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/flash_image
    chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
    mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak
(IMPORTANT NOTE - If you get an error on the line above such as "file does not exist" ignore the error and keep going.)
    mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system
    flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-GNM-OPT-T-test.img
    reboot recovery

substituting "recovery-RA-GNM-thunderc-s-1.1.0.img" for "recovery-RA-GNM-OPT-T-test.img" I thought everything was good b/c the phone shut down and started to reboot only to get stuck in a loop boot. The only thing that I can do is get the phone to go into "e" mode. I have tried hard reset, adb from a computer and my device canot be found. I removed the batt and tried to find firmweare to download in order to use KDZ with no sucsess. I am at a compleet loss and despratly need help. PLEASE......... P.S. sorry for incorect spelling and the length of the post.
