Hello everyone! So, this morning I flashed CodeName Android 1.5.5 on my Galaxy S i9000. I came from cm9 which was good but pretty buggy. I'm hoping this one is faster and more stable, and up until now, it's not.
This ROM seems a bit laggy to me, and slower, but then again I just flashed. What worries me is that I haven't even restored my apps yet. So I thought about flashing a custom Kernel! Is this a good idea? Will a kernel speed things up? And are there any settings to enable/disable to get all the juice out? Also which Kernel is the best, I've seen Matr1x kernel but it's only for Nexus S, is there any one out there as good as this one?
