Unlock and switch to at&t?

So now that its easy to unlock your sim is anyone thinking of switching carriers? This is my first tmobile phone and I bought it off contract. Love the phone but I don't get 3g at work. I know I'll get 3g at work if I switch to at&t. Any cons to making this switch?

I'm thinking of buying an at&t sim card for just data. It's $25 a month and I can probably just use it at work. I'm not sure why my office gets horrible T-Mobile signal but we get full AT&T. I use google voice so I should be able to still get all my texts and voice mails.

Why not just get the captivate?

If using a unlocked Vibrant on ATT...

I think I read that you still get 3G speed on ATT

1. Can you delete bloatware from the vibrant before using on ATT?

2. Does the Vibrant retain visual voice mail once on ATT?

Thanks very much for any insights to these questions. Currently a captivate owner which I bought without contract. Could sell and get the vibrant.
