the email and text message notification is VERY weak. Nowhere near as good as with my Curve. Never mind that it doesn't have an led to let one know when there is a message, the vibration can rarely be felt and it only vibes once. It would be nice if in a future fix the Vibrant would be able to vibrate longer or more than once, to make up for its weak buzz. Other than that, this phone rocks!!

If you use HandCent for messaging instead of the built in messaging app you can change the way it vibrates.

You really should be using Handcent for messages. It is a great app. My only gripe with it is that it doesn't work with Google voice.
