What happened to TMO's "4G"?
What the hell is wrong with this network??? since about 3 days it works slow as snail... The HSPA+ was always crap but now it can't load any site no more... What am I paying $70 for? I called the CS to ask them what happened, but it's just waste of time speaking with those morons. I've tried with different phones and checked with my friends - same everywhere. Crappy network just got crappier. I don't know if the same happens elsewhere but here in Chicago there is something definetely wrong with this carrier. I recently bought two new Galaxy Nexus's for me and mom and now I'm about to sell them and leave this pseudo carrier for Verizon... I hate TMO so much also for the amount of dropped calls (also in Chicago). I know that both Sprint and ATT are no any better but right now I am not sure which one is the worst of these 3...

The spectrum refarm is currently in progress in several major markers including Chicago. This could lead to some temporary issues but it should get better. I would recommend being patient to see what happens.

Re: What happened to TMO's "4G"?
You'll be in the Verizon forum griping about them too. Their coverage maps are not accurate, their customer service horrible and their LTE phones suck up battery juice like a pig slurping milk. PC magazine's tests showed that T-Mobile's HSPA+ 4G beat Verizon's LTE in almost every quadrant of the country and where it didn't beat it, it was very competitive. If you all you care about is speed then go with AT&T. Their LTE is the new technology (Verizon's is old and shows its age) and it beats the pants off Verizon or anybody for that matter. When you aren't in an LTE area you'll have HSPA+ and although their HSPA+ is not as fast as T-Mobile's it is a lot faster than Sprint's WiMax or other carrier's 3G.
