How to tell what 4G coverage you're getting
How can one tell what kind of HSPA one is getting? In settings, my Nexus 4 shows HSPA:10. What does this mean, exactly? And when I was in LA this morning, where I'm pretty sure they have HSAP+ 42, I couldn't tell the difference.
Any tricks to figuring this out? Thanks!

10 is usually when data is idle. When transferring data it will usually switch to HSPA+: 15. Custom Ross like CyanogenMod will show an H or H+ by the signal bars to show which network level is being used.

Are you asking for the HSPA speeds? If so, and if I'm correct, HSPA:10 means you are getting HSPA Category 10 speeds, which is up to 14.4 mbps. See this article for a better explanation: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
