Default blackberry plan to andriod plan

I currently have a bb 8320 and i am really thinking about going to the samsung vibrant when my contract is up. i pay $19.99 for the bb add-on right now. if i change to the andriod is tmo gonna charge the standard $30 data plan when i switch? if they are can i complain and get them to charge me the same because the 2 plans are basically the same? they are the same right?

I don't really think so. Android can do so much more than BB. If you do end up switching to android DON'T get the Motorola Cliq. It runs a very old version of android (1.5)

The $19.99 feature does not exist anymore with t-mobile, you were grandfathered in. There are only a couple of Android data features available, the $24.99 on older plans, the $30 on the Even More plans, the $25 on the Even More Plus. So it will have to be one of those.

Talk to retentions. Since you have been a long time customer, they may be able to help you with an older, less expensive plan.

I agree with K Bear. I upgraded and when I talked to an Account Specialist (retentions) I got a 25 dollar unlimited data plan. Remember they are people to treat them kindly and with respect and they will go out of their way to help you.

    Hope this helps

I just upgraded (about 1 hour ago) from a BB 8900 to the G2. I started the conversation by saying I was thinking of leaving Tmobile because if I switched to the G2, my BB internet package would switch to the Andriod package and that is more expensive. The customer service rep said that since I have been with then 8 years, they could grandfather me in for any internet plan.

As a result, I kept the $24.99 for unlimited internet and 400 text messages. And I got the G2 for $149.99.

Good luck, just emphasize that you have been a loyal customer and ask to speak with retentions.
