Hotspot?

What happens if I use all of my allotment of Hotspot which us 3gb? Do I get charged overage or it just stops working?

As far as I know most T-Mobile data plan have no overages.

like if your plan has 5 gb data they slow it to 3g after you hit 5gb

It should in theory just stop. They won't charge you overage.

Once hotspot hits the limit it'll just stop. Use it as much as you want till then.. No overages.

Thanks that is what I thought but wasn't 100% sure since I never really use it a lot but I was away from Home and Don't trust Public Wifi

I ran into this last month. Your connection just stops working from your tethered device.

I have unlimited with 5 gb Hotspot and it's been great for my two kids when we are in the car. Haven't even come close to hitting the 5gb. Good stuff.

I am pretty sure when you hit the 5gb it will no longer provide service.

Been there as we used the hotspot for our condo internet last winter. Had to get the wife to quit looking at images and videos the next month.
