It should in theory just stop. They won't charge you overage.

Once hotspot hits the limit it'll just stop. Use it as much as you want till then.. No overages.

Thanks that is what I thought but wasn't 100% sure since I never really use it a lot but I was away from Home and Don't trust Public Wifi :)

I have unlimited with 5 gb Hotspot and it's been great for my two kids when we are in the car. Haven't even come close to hitting the 5gb. Good stuff.

I am pretty sure when you hit the 5gb it will no longer provide service.

Been there as we used the hotspot for our condo internet last winter. Had to get the wife to quit looking at images and videos the next month.
