T-Mobile apps on new unlocked phone

Hi! I use my T-Mo prepaid line when visiting the US (do not live in the US) and have been using a T-Mo bought Alcatel 5020T. I plan on getting a Samsung SM-G800 unlocked phone for my primary line (at home) and change sims when I travel.
I'd keep my $3 / month paygo service buying data per week.
Should be no problem, but I'm just curious if (& where) I can download the T-Mobile apps? or should I back-up from the old phone and restore on the new one.
Please let me know the easiest way to do this. Sorry if someone else posted a similar thread earlier.

T-mobile apps? I was on T-Mobile for 13 years (until last February) and I have no idea what you are talking about.

My Alcatel Evolve came with a few apps pre-installed fromT-Mobile, the one I use most is the "My Account" app that tells me how many minutes, texts and data I have used.

Since I have had unlocked phones for the last six years I never knew these existed for T-Moble.
