I turned on the hand motion that lets you get to a dark bubbled screen with email, calls, and texts and how many.
However, every time I do it, the bubbles and notifications show up for just a sec and then it goes to the lock screen wallpaper immediately.
What am I doing wrong. I have checked every setting I can think of. Power cycled phone. Not sure why its not working right.

It only shows the notification screen for about a second or two so that part is right. Mine goes back to sleep, not to the lock screen. So yours will be in sleep mode but after you wave over phone it shows notification and then the lock screen ?

Ya I thought it would show the bubble screen for a few seconds and then go back to sleep mode. Mine goes to the lock screen and lights up and stays there for a bit and then goes back to sleep. The problem is I can't even see the notifications before it skip to lock screen.

Just a quick question does this gesture drain your battery at all?

For me, no. I finally put my note 3 on a charger after 1 day 16 hours at 8% battery.
The Note 3 battery for me, amazing.

I should note that I disabled like 10-15 apps right out of the box, mostly AT&T stuff, other than Voicemail and The app to pay my bill.
ANT services apps, etc. I can't even remember them all. All were useless for me tho.
