Where did you install it from? Was it part of a system update, or did you install it from Google Play or the Galaxy Store?

You can't uninstall the shortcut to the installer. But you can simply not use it. It doesn't run if you don't have it fully installed and the shortcut is just there.

I would have suggested hiding the app from the App Drawer, but apparently that option isn't available on the Note 3. It also looks like you can't disable it. So unless you want to root the device and remove Kids Mode completely, your options are to install an alternative launcher that allows you to hide apps (like Nova), or just leave it there.

I use a different launcher (Smart Launcher) and simply hide all the bloatware or other apps I don't use. Makes for a much cleaner app drawer.
