Reset to old version of Android software?

I am not liking the lollipop update at all. Note 3 just became less productive.

first of there is not lock screen widgets at all which sucks and then there were 5 Fav apps icon on lock that can be dragged and open. now we have to actually open the lock screen and look for those apps.I dont like it at all

is there a way to get back to the old version of operating system?

I don't believe you can revert back unless you root. I may be wrong but I don't think there's a way to back track.

If your device is rootable, you may be able to find a custom ROM or a Stock Deodexed ROM that is based on KitKat for the Note 3, otherwise if you can't root, you are likely stuck.
