Hi! I'm new to the this website and the android world. I just got an infuse and I have a bunch of mps ringtones on my memory card and i was wondering how to, if possible, use them as text tones. Also can i set a different text tone for different contacts so that i know who is texting me.

I've been asking the same question and not really getting a definite answer other than having to use an app to get something or another. I don't know. I'm not totally understanding it yet... Here's the thread.

Ringo is what you want. it lets you set unique SMS tones for each contact. There is a free and paid version
