Why no media sound via Bluetooth?

I am new here and tried to see if this issue has been addressed yet, but no luck.

Why can't I listen to media (music, movies, games, etc) through my bluetooth headset? I used to be able to do this with previous phones, but no luck with the Infuse. I have tried numerous apps from "the market" but none work. Is there a work around for this? Is this expected to be fixed in the gingerbread update?

I appreciate it. I did see that thread, but it was of no help. I am not sure if the Infuse has something different or what the issue is. I have 2 bluetooth headsets that both play music on older Samsung (non smartphone) so I am pretty sure it is not the headsets.

Correct. No Media option.

I just connected to my Sony Xplod's(car radio) bluetooth and works fine Phone/Media. I rarely use the bluetooth, but I may now since it's set up. Thanks!

try installing bluemusic, it works for mono headsets, a2dp and carkits and has after call resume.

Bluetooth settings
Long press on your bluetooth device
Select Options from the pop up menu
Make sure both Phone and Media selections are checked
This worked for me.

My device won't let me connect to media, only phone audio (phone calls) there is an option but every time I try and check the box it results in failure. Please help!!
