I've sctratched my camera window. Really bad. Photos are awful.
The window is actually part of the rear housing. The rear housing is apparently available on line from only one source ( I wont name because they are jerks). They absolutly wont sell to me, end user lousy DIY'er). But they advertise the housing as $12.50. Installs with six screws.
So I start looking for some shop to do this for me. Everyone wants my phone for 2 weeks, wont quote me a price, etc.One shop told me that they dont work on Samsungs because Samsung is really miserable to get parts from.
I have damage insurance, but deductible is $200, and once again, they seem to think that people can give up their phones for weeks at a time. Whats with that?
I think Ill try surgically removing the glass.
