My friend has an Infuse. I can't figure out what to do with the issues he's having. So here's the story:

He got the phone and it wasn't rooted. Lots of bloat, so we rooted it and froze some stuff. It worked great for a while, then the phone after a week or two started rebooting by itself; like when it was just sitting there, the phone would reboot by itself randomly.

So we installed a custom ROM a few weeks ago: Infused. The phone stopped rebooting randomly, but a few days ago he noticed that he was listening to music and the music stopped playing. He looks at his phone and the notification bar is telling him that the phone is scanning for media...

I know the latter issue sounds like it may be an SD card issue, but could it be related to the former issue also? What's going on here?

Pull the SD card and run it. if it's fine then you know it's the card. I had an Adata card that did that same thing.
