If (*if*) I should ever accomplish the GB update (all stock, unrooted) and subsequently do a factory reset, where will it take me? Back to stock GB, or all the way back to FroYo?

I have had to run Factory Reset twice since getting the phone in May (once because I was in a loop of out-of-storage messages and could not get it to shut up long enough to delete anything, the second because the phone app would crash whenever the phone rang). I figure that I will continue to do whatever I'm doing wrong to allow problems like this and I will need to know whether my recovery too still helps.

It will take you to stock gb. I was having alot of force close issues after the update and did the factory reset to clear them up.
