Okay, so I followed the G2G method to put my phone back to stock so I can follow the 'official' method to go GB. I started it at 6pm and it wasn't even 3mm on the loading bar. I thought something was wrong so I went looking around the internet and didn't find anything saying how long it will take.

So I stopped the install and checked to make sure everything was working on my phone, it was, so I went back to the forums and found the alternative method to installing GB, using odin 1.7 to install it. So I started that and it also was taking forever, i started it at 9pm and kept it running until 12 and it was about 1/4 from where it started and was continually moving so I left it to run all night long. When I woke up this morning my computer was turned off and all the clocks were flashing 12:00, my power went off, so i went to my phone and found it to be a black screen that doesn't function at all. I cannot get it to do anything.

Is there anything I can do to fix this or is it a brick and do I need to send it back to AT&T?

Have you tried to see if you can get the phone into download mode (remove & replace battery, hold both vol up/down, connect usb to pc)? Sometimes even if the screen on the phone is blank odin can still identify the device. if you see the COM#.# in odin then proceed further with the instructions.

O.O I tried that three times before and it didn't do anything, I just tried again and it worked! I wonder why...? Oh well, back to intsalling the O.S, thank you for your help!
