Talk not working

I'm new here, so forgive me if this is a stupid question...

I recently got an Infuse and upgraded the firmware. All seems to be working well, except that I can't get the video chat function of Google Talk to work. From what I read, the firmware should support it and it should be a part of the app version that I have, but the video options do not appear and there are no video settings in the app setting.

Am I missing something? Video chat supposedly works with Skype or Qik, but my family uses Google Talk, so without that option there's not going to be much use for video chat at all.
