With GB finally being made available, I'm wondering if one can root GB after the update? I've used SuperOne Click before but don't know about GB.

I'm not sure completely about the Infuse and what they are using for the Super One Click, but judging off other "One Click Root" apps on other devices namely Samsung Epic 4g when Gingerbread came out all One Click's became obsolete. Google and the carriers/manufactures worked together to close up all the "exploits" used in Froyo/Eclair to root your device.

Now it comes down to flashing a custom recovery in most cases and then flashing Superuser or a rooted custom kernel to gain access.

Thanks, guys. I think my mind is made up then. I'm not upgrading to GB. I don't need my rooting mode much often at all, but when I need it, it's important to be able to use it. I'm sticking with Froyo.
