AT&T Mobile Insurance raised prices.

Would this be considered a contract change/materially adverse and grounds for ending our contract with ATT without the early termination fee.


Changes are as follows:

Monthly Subscription: $4.99 -> $6.99
Replacement Deductible: $125-> $199

Program becomes effective Oct 4, 2011.

Any link to this? I just started service last week and wasn't made aware of this. I did see that iPhones are 199 deductible and my thrill will be 130. 4.something per month. Any more than this and its no longer worth it.

Asurion raised the rates, not AT&T.

$6.99/mo, deductible tiers are $50 (basic/QMD phones), $125 (smartphones), and $199 for premium phones (iPhone, ATRIX, Infuse 4G)

$9.99/mo gets insurance plus 24hr phone/web troubleshooting, plus a phone tracking service.
