AT&T users...what are you holding out for? Galaxy S?
For those of you AT&T users that are waiting on the Galaxy S, what will you do if AT&T "cripples" it to the point of disappointment?
In other words, if not the Galaxy S, what? Switch carriers? Keep waiting? - 06-14-2010, 10:52 AM #2
Today's announcement was far from what I was hoping.

There is plenty to worry about with anything Samsung. They are very bad at supporting prodcuts and I am not just talking about phones across many lines of home electronics.
I want a device with atleast a 1GHZ processor and a 3.7-4.3in screen running on 2.1 or better. Made by either HTC or Moto. - 06-14-2010, 05:11 PM #7

I want a high end android with a keyboard! I won't do a touchscreen only device until after I do a hybrid. It's gonna take me awhile to get used to it, and so I want to make sure I'll like it before I commit.

My wife is on AT&T (We both had no interest in changing carriers after we got married). She had still been using a Motorola Razr up until October. On 1 Oct she got a Blackberry Torch. Not saying it is the choice for everyone, but it is actually a pretty good device.
She went into the AT&T store and messed around with the Captivate, the Iphone, and the Torch before making her decision. - 11-02-2010, 06:56 PM #14
I'm hoping that with the carrier exclusivity ending on the iPhone that AT&T will get some nice high end Android touch screen devices. Hopefully, anyway! We'll see what Q1 brings us!

Just found my perfect device for at&t. The Dell Streak. Sold my Nexus One to get it and glad I did. Even though it is on 1.6 (till later this month) it runs better than my N1 did. You have to go play with one at a local Best Buy.

I've got until June. Hopefully by then there will be some new and exciting phones from both BB and Android. If there isn't an Android with a nice keyboard (if the G2 ever made it to AT&T I'd be so happy) I'll stick with BB!

That's easy, working service... I've been 3 weeks without anything but email and that's over wifi. They keep giving me the runaround about the issue so likely it's Verizon here I come.
