Hey Everyone, I hope you can help me make a choice, weighing the pros and cons.

I'm in NYC, specifically Bronx. I'm in an AT&T Family Plan with an Unlimited data plan.
I mention I'm in NYC because I don't particularly know the HSPA+ speeds in the NYC area.
I'm hoping you guys can help me choose between upgrading to the HTC One X+, or getting the Google Nexus 4?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The reason I'm finding the choice hard is in comparing both side by side.

If I'm correct:
HTC One X+ / Google Nexus 4
$199 / $350
On contract / Unlocked
64GB / 16GB
1GB RAM / 2 GB RAM
LTE / HSPA+
HTC Sense+ / Pure Google

Those are the differences I could think of, other aspects like camera and screen quality are negligible.
I think I'm just hoping to hear something that drastically tips the scale in favor of one over the other.

Pay extra for the nexus 4 and if AT&T releases a phone you really like you still have your upgrade

That's what I did to cover my bases.
I bought the Nexus 4 figuring if anything I can think of my decision, and if I were to choose the One X+, I can sell the Nexus 4 and still have my upgrade available to me.

Any ideas as to what speeds I can expect from HSPA+ in my area?

Hspa+ speeds in Vermont. But note it will vary from location to location. Hope this helps you out some.

I'm in Brooklyn and my speeds as far as HSDPA+ are respectable. I have seen as slow as 0.25MB to as fast as 10MB a second. I'm using a galaxy nexus and had a galaxy note prior, lte was greatly the fastest one. Back when att just launched 4g lte in the boros I had speeds as high as 50MB now a lot more lte devices are out I have seen speeds hang around 15-20MB.
