Can we take advantage of this $100 credit for activating a new line promotion?
I currently have a 10 GB Mobile Share Value plan ($100) with two lines ($15 each). I brought my own phones, so I am not on contract. After opening this account, I did get $100 bill credit for each line, which got me thinking...
The only requirements to get the $100 bill credit are to activate a new line and keep it open for at least 45 days.
So if I activated a new line, the activation fee would be $36, and two months of service would be $30 ($15/month), bringing the grand total to $66. That would qualify for the $100 bill credit, and then I could close the line and have gained $34 ($100-$66) in bill credit in the end to apply towards the bill for my two "real lines".
Now expanding that further, what if I did that with 10 lines? Now I'm looking at gaining $340 in bill credit.
50 lines and my AT&T bill for the two original lines is covered for two years.

Most consumers are limited with no deposit on 3 lines for the first six months, then 10. More lines after that requires a $445 deposit per line.
