Upgrading to newer phone sooner

Okay so here is the deal. I have an iPhone 3gs, which is kinda acting up on me. The battery has been draining alot faster than normal and the screen sometimes flikers on and off which is odd. Last night i had a text come in and the screen came on and made half the noise it wa suppose to but shut off and went back into stnad by mode. Anyway i dont think my phone is going to make it till June. Its not banged up but i am not paying to get a new battery or anything and then buy a new phone in June.

So the Atrix was announced today and i kinda want that phone and badly!!! But my next phone purchase will be at best buy since i have a few gift cards there and a coupon. Will best buy let me upgrade earlier than i am supposed to? Like in the spring time? March or April?

More than likely best buy will not let you upgrade early. Usually only carrier stores are able to do that. At least att is getting some good high end android phones at last.
