I found some page on att site about 4g. I think it showed a map of their 3g coverage which might help you. Basically ATT says their hspa is nearly entirely upgraded to hspa+. They just have to increase the backhaul in all the areas. So they claim they have a lot of hspa+ coverage but don't divulge how much of their coverage can actually support it. I know I saw over 4Mbps the other day which is best I ever had in a speed test. Exodus of iphone customers should help too! Over the past few months I have noticed definite improvement in att service where I work. Always been excellent at home.
