which android phone to get?

Currently have a galaxy s3 mini that's getting old. Not sure what to replace it with. Good battery life is always nice and a price that doesn't break the bank is a plus. I like Samsung but am open to other brands.

I have a Note 3 and still absolutely love it. However, I am sick of not getting OS updates and security updates. I will probably stick with my Note 3 for a while but seriously considering a Nexus for now on.
