Unlocked Samsung GS5 on ATT not sending/receiving texts

I have a TMobile phone that is unlocked and was working happily on ATT. We put the phone away for a few months, then went to activate it again. Everything is working perfectly except it won't send or receive texts.

Take it to AT&T for assistance (if they'll help you with a foreign-branded phone). Depending on the phone, AT&T may have moved their towers to a different band - their phones have both the old and new bands, but yours doesn't have the new one.
