AT&T plans?

Does anyone know if AT&T has any concrete plans or release dates for any good (ie not the backflip) android phones?

There have been no dates yet for any of the others. The Aero was annouced without a date but I would call that a low end android phone. The Samsung has cleared the FCC but still nothing, but that will be a high end phone. The Desire is rumored but still nothing but there is a HTC android phone that is an exclusive promiced and it fits the bill. Even with the specs of the Samsung being better I would take the Desire over it anyday just because I will not buy a cutting edge Samsung product ever again.

AT&T thinks that everyone just needs an iPhone.

They have not had any really good smartphones for a long time, they seem to pass them up and feel there is no reason to anything other than the iPhone.
