    Default Apps for my Grandma?

So I game my mommom my 8gb nexus 7(I got the galaxy note 2 and have a laptop, she dosen't have much $ nor much of an internet connection so it's something).
I set it up for her with a bunch of games, cut the rope, angry birds, billiards and a couple of others.

She's gone nuts over angry birds! And she's told me she rushes to get housework done to play games with her tablet.

I need to get her sketchbook mobile(I have the apk saved from when I bought it, again she dosen't have much $$$).

Does anyone know of any great and free apps that don't need an internet connection after the initial donwload? She LOVES games like katamari, crash bandicoot, billiards and scrabble(words w/friends needs a consistent internet connection augh!). I play cut the rope, my little pony, and mass effect as well as a few others, but I don't know what else she will enjoy in terms of games for her. If you know of a game that's great but is paid, it needs to not need to check for purchase verification at every launch because I'd have to buy it with my account and copy her the APK because again, they don't have extra cash and I don't want to hook up MY card to her account in case she were to accidentally buy something that costs money.

Also, any good free books you recommend? She's gotten into westerns as of late.

i got my grandmother a toshiba thrive and all she plays is solitaire. she keeps asking me to find more games for her to play. I'm not sure what's out there for an old woman. I'd like some suggestions too!

I don't know where you live, but you might want to check out the local library for ebooks. You may have to install the kindle app to do so.

As far as games, my dh loves to play casino games on his iphone, and I'm pretty sure they are available in the Play store too. I am not sure what's available in free games as I don't play them much, but it might be worth a browse online at the Play store.
