Have any of you tried using the themed watchface?

When I try to use either the timer or weather 'themed' options, I only get the following image:

Any suggestions?

This is a bit tricky. Tap and hold that face to get to settings for it. Scroll up to "Register your watch...". Tap that. Follow the instructions. When you log into TH Website, you may have to unregister your watch and then reregister. The watch will give you a code to enter. Make sure you have one and only one registration. More than that will mess you up. Also, be sure to update your profile, especially your location. Ugh!

Hi ipaulr, thank you for the info. Unfortunately I was unable to access the "Register your watch..." function, and thus unable to follow the rest of your instructions. I did however also discover that the 'weather' function in general doesn't work (see below). Could this be because this watch is not currently available in Australia?IMAG0548_1.jpg

Strange, I've used the Insiders theme before and it worked fine but now nothing except for the Time Keeping works. In fact, on the watch only the Time Keeping theme shows up, none of the others do. When I select it on the phone (Android), the watch just displays a generic face with no little dials.

On iOS, install the Google News & Weather app and it works. Can't change from F to C tho, AFAIK.

Hi Gary, thanks for the advise. I currently have the Google News and Weather app installed on my phone (including metric measures), however still unable to the 'themed' watchface to work correctly.

I raised a support ticket with Tag as I had the same problem.

They got back to me today and advised logging into their website and under my profile set my default city location. After I did this I changed watch faces and then went back to the weather themed face and it worked. So give that a try.

Thanks Gary. Do you mean my Tag Heuer profile at 'https://profile.tagheuer.com/en/edit', or with the Google news&weather app? I already have both set to 'Melbourne', but no luck as yet.

However, the 'time-keeping' option now works, but still not the weather.

Probably this site: TAG Heuer Connected

I unregistered my watch and re-registered it and everything seems to be working ok again.

I had to log in through this site and set my hometown.

I assume you have tried a reboot of the watch if you have set your hometown already?

Thanks Gary. No luck with rebooting-changing hometown-rebooting-deregistering-reregistering-rebooting. I also got a response back from Tag Heuer Australia, which essentially said:

Good morning,

As the Tag Heuer Connected watch has not been released as yet in Australia, we are unable to offer advise.

Kind Regards.
TAG Heuer Australia

According to Google, they will be released on the 16th of Jan. So hopefully in a fortnight from now I will have both a working 'themed' face, and a spare charger for work. :-)

I had this problem also. I had to unregister and reregister on the connected site before it worked.

I have the same issue with my US TH Connected, and sent TH support an email. Here their response:

We are sorry for the inconvenience with your timepiece.

We currently experience a bug on some of the watches. You are affected by the bug. We are currently working on an update that will come out by the end of January.

We are once again sorry for the inconvenience.

If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,

TAG Heuer Connected Support Team

Unregister, updated online profile with location, factory reset and reregistar seems to have solved this issue for me.

Using the same themed watchface, but for time keeping, I was playing around with the timer feature, but I can't figure out how to reset the timer to 00:00:00. I can adjust the time and start and pause it, however I can't figure out how to reset it to 0, and save it.

For about 10 days now whenever I change the colour of face or theme of the themed face, and a notification is received to the watch or I open an application, the colour of the watch face reverts to a default (as shown on the tag connected app) or to the time keeping face in the case of the themed face. It's very frustrating to say the least, I've reset watch twice, unregistered, uninstalled android wear and tag app but the issue persists. Not sure if its to do with the wear app recent update. I'm using Xperia Ultra running 5.1.1. Any ideas folks?

Actually, I suffer from the same issue! I'm really pissed and have sent some tickets to Tag Heuer support. No reply yet...

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Dude, I had 2 tickets logged with Tag's support too. Got so fed up and returned the watch for a full refund. Also said to them that I'd be more than happy to purchase a another non defective unit. Long story short, I did get a spanking new one which works like a charm and now with the marshmallow update, I'm grinning from ear to ear. Haven't even had to force restart in about 3 weeks.

One other thing, I did say to them no one on the forums had commented on my issue and I was convinced it was a one off defective unit. The guys said to me they'd never seen an issue like we've experienced. This was in London (Stratford) Westfield Shopping center store. Feel free to PM me if you need some more info to support your refund/exchange.

Finally!
I called Tag Heuer and they promised me that Google will provide an update soon. Since yesterday the watch is working perfectly!

Thanks to Tag Heuer and Google
